ANNVILLE, PA (February 13, 2023) -- For the first time since 2018, the King's College wrestling team was recognized in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) weekly honor roll as first year Shane Kibler was tabbed MAC Wrestler of the Week.

Kibler went a perfect 3-0 at 149 in a 2-1 week for King's. The first-year earned a 13-6 decision over Centenary on the road on Thursday night to start the week. He then earned a 9-7 decision over Hunter and a 9-1 major decision win over Scranton in a tri-match sweep on Sunday. He also helped give the Monarchs their first win over Scranton since 2015, snapping a six-dual losing streak to the Royals.

This is the first MAC Wrestler of the Week award for the Monarchs this season, including the first for a King's wrestler since Jake Taylor was recognized for his efforts on February 19, 2018.
