Patrick Pech earned a win in singles play to lead the King's College men's tennis team in an 8-1 loss to Ursinus on Tuesday night at Orlando's USTA National Campus.

Doubles action saw
Logan Gregory and
John Toussaint put up the best fight in the No. 1 matchup but fell, 8-2 to the Bears. Both the No. 2 doubles pair of
Aidan Temple and
Patrick Pech, and the No. 3 doubles match with
Brendan Turowski and
Jacob Nelson were decided by 8-0 losses to Ursinus.

Pech picked up the lone win of the day for King's at No. 3 singles, defeating Noah Mandel by sets of 6-0 and 6-3. Gregory was downed by sets of 6-2 and 6-1 to Lars Jespersen at No. 1 singles, while Toussaint dropped his sets by 6-1 and 6-3 finals to Darby Rogers.

The No. 4 singles match saw
Aidan Temple fall in matching 6-0 sets to Andrei Bogdan, while
Brendan Turowski lost by sets of 6-1 and 6-0 to Hunter Murray in the No. 5 contest. Nelson rounded out the match in No. 6 singles play as he fell by a pair of 6-1 sets to Storm Snape.

King's concludes their competition in their annual spring training trip this morning, Wednesday, March 8, as they take on Wentworth Institute of Technology at the Oak Street Park Community Center.
