GLENSIDE, PA (April 21, 2023) -- In their regular-season Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) finale, the King's College men's tennis team blanked the host Arcadia University, 9-0, on Friday afternoon in Glenside, Pa. With the win, the Monarchs improve to 11-7 overall and 4-3 in the conference, while the Knights drop to 4-7 with a 1-5 conference mark.
 
Doubles play saw 
Logan Gregory and 
John Toussaint dominate the No. 1 doubles match with a win of 8-1, while 
Patrick Pech and 
Aidan Temple defeated the Knights pair, 8-4, at No. 2 doubles. 
Brendan Turowski and 
Jacob Nelson completed the doubles sweep in No. 3 action, 8-3, over Arcadia.
 
In singles play, Gregory picked up set wins of 6-2 and 6-1 in No. 1 singles play over Francis Tamesis, while Toussaint earned a pair of 6-1 wins over Matt Nagy at No. 2 single. The No. 3 singles match featured Pech winning by scores of 6-1 and 6-0 over Brett Schneider, while Temple toughed out a win at No. 4 singles by sets of 7-5 and 6-2 over David Cassel. Turowski picked up sets of 6-1 and 6-0 over Ryan Salmon. at No. 5 singles, while 
Cody Zheng completed the sweep with wins of 7-5 and 6-2 over Dylan Infantino at No. 6 singles.
 
The Monarchs will return to Kirby Park on Sunday afternoon as they are set to host Susquehanna University in non-conference play. Action is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
