Maddison Quick collected two individual victories on Saturday afternoon as the King's College women's swimming team fell, 92-33, to the host Lycoming College in their return to action. With the setback in the Lamade Natatorium, the Monarchs fall to 0-5 in dual meets, while the Warriors improved to 5-4.

Roni McClelland opened the meet for the Monarchs with a time of 2:34.33 in the 200 yard freestyle before Quick earned her first win of the day in the 50 yard freestyle in 28.11 seconds, while McClelland took second in 33.34 seconds.

In the 100 yard freestyle, Quick finished second to Lycoming's (5-4) Cathryn Brought in 1:00.72 before rallying in the 100 yard backstroke to defeat the Warriors' Ana Holbrook with a time of 1:16.54. McClelland rounded out the meet for King's (0-5) in the 100 yard backstroke as she recorded a time of 1:26.63 to place second overall.

King's will return to action next weekend as they travel to Annville, Pa. on Friday, January 19 for a 5:00 p.m. start time at Lebanon Valley College.
