WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 9, 2024) -- The King's College women's swim team were defeated by Wilkes (2-4) 111-14 and fell to Stevenson (4-2) 188-11 at the Wyoming Valley CYC on Saturday afternoon.
 
In the individual events, Esmeralda Romero took fourth place in the 100-yard backstroke for the Monarchs (0-9) and clocked in at 1:27.09. Romero competed in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 32.38 and Lexi Nastanski was right behind at 38.85. In the 100-yard freestyle, Romero recorded a time of 1:13.63 and Nastanski at 1:35.98.
 
King's  will return home on Friday, November 15^th at 5:30 p.m. to take on Lebanon Valley. The squad will battle in the Electric City Invitational that is hosted by Marywood from Friday, November 22^nd to Sunday, November 24^th.
