WINCHESTER, VA (March 2, 2024) -- Brandy Varner represented the King's College indoor track and field team at Shenandoah University's South Region Final Qualifier on Saturday afternoon.
 
In the shot put, Varner recorded a mark of 12.49 meters on her fourth attempt to finish fifth overall. Unattached competitor Chelsea Whalen won the event with a toss of 15.35 meters.
 
The Monarchs will be off for the break before opening their outdoor track and field schedule on March 23.
