IRVING, TX (April 10, 2024) -- The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) announced on Wednesday morning a record number of members for the 2024 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is comprised of college football players from all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA and sprint football who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers. Among this year's honorees are King's College football juniors Alyssa Accordino and Nate McGlone.

An elite group of 1,989 players from 339 schools qualified for membership in 2024, setting a new record for the number of members in a single year during the program's 18-year history. The initiative has now honored 18,387 student-athletes since its inception.

"We are thrilled to honor a record number of athletes as part of this year's Hampshire Honor Society," said NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell. "Over the last 18 years, the Hampshire Honor Society has served as a powerful vehicle for schools to recognize their college football players who have distinguished themselves both academically and athletically, and we congratulate the schools and each of these young men for their commitment to excellence in all aspects of their lives."

Both have been prime examples of what it means to be members of not only the Monarch football program, but also the King's College community throughout their careers. McGlone appeared and started in all 11 games as the center on the offensive line, collecting All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) First Team honors and D3football.com All-Region Third Team recognition. Accordino played in eight of the 11 contests as the extra-point attempt kicker, going 20-for-24 in her attempts for 20 points on the season.

The duo joins a list of 24 previous Hampshire Honor Society members from King's, the latest being Joe Herman, Mike Karycinski, and Kyle Prescavage in 2023. The Monarchs have placed at least one student-athlete on the list for the last 10 active season, and each inductee can be found below:
