WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 14, 2024) --
Logan Gregory and
John Toussaint combined for three wins as the King's College men's tennis team fell, 6-3, to Arcadia University in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Fredoom) match on Sunday. With the setback at Kirby Park, the Monarchs fall to 5-8 overall and 1-2 in the standings, while the Knights improved to 7-2 with a 1-1 conference mark.

Gregory earned his first win in the match at No. 1 singles with set victories of 6-1 and 6-3 over Aaron Allen, and Toussaint defeated Kevin McHale at No. 2 singles with wins of 6-1 and 6-0. The pair teamed up at No. 1 doubles to down the Knights, 8-2.

In No. 3 singles play,
Aidan Temple fell by sets of 6-4 and 6-3 to Lee Conlu, while
Cody Zheng dropped his No. 4 singles match to Matthew Nagy, 6-3 and 6-2.
Mike Bizzoco was downed by scores of 6-2 and 6-4 at No. 5 singles to David Cassel, while
Jacob Nelson lost by sets of 6-3 and 6-1 to Leo Dupont at No. 6 singles.

The Monarchs No. 2 doubles team of Temple and Nelson battled before falling, 8-6, while Zheng and
Amir Samadian lost 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.

King's will begin preparation for back-to-back MAC Freedom road matches with their first trip to Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday, April 17 at 3:30 p.m.
