WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 14, 2024) --
Hailey D'Amato helped lead the King's College women's tennis team on Sunday with a pair of wins in a 6-3 setback to Arcadia University in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play. With the loss at Kirby Park on Sunday, the Monarchs fall to 4-8 overall and 0-3 in the conference, while the Knights improve to 5-2 with a 1-1 conference mark.

D'Amato earned her first win in a battle at No. 2 singles, rallying from a 6-2 loss in the first to defeat Kate Wyszkowski 6-4 and 10-7. D'Amato then teamed up with
Ashley Kenia to defeat the No. 1 doubles team, 8-5.
Sarah Stettler won her No. 6 singles match with a pair of 6-4 victories over Jaelyn DaSilva for the Monarchs third win in the match.

In No. 1 singles play, Kenia fell by sets of 6-3 and 6-4 to Savannah Falk, while
Jackie Costello dropped a tough 7-5 and 6-1 match to Leah Hatcher at No. 3 singles. At No. 4 singles,
Carlee Dellose was downed by sets of 6-1 and 7-5 to Bella Bauman, while
Emma Rooney battled through 7-5 and 6-2 decisions to Bridgit Terry at No. 5 singles.

At No. 2 doubles, Costello and Dellose dropped an 8-3 match to the Arcadia team, while Rooney and
Anagrace Schwartz fell, 8-4, at No. 3 doubles.

The Monarchs will be back in action on Wednesday in another MAC Freedom match on the road at Lebanon Valley College. The match is set to begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Shankroff Tennis Center.
