Arcadia picked up three more runs in the fourth inning on a two-run double and then on ground-out to first to build up to 4-0 over King's.
King's then held off Arcadia until the top of the sixth inning when the Knights recorded another run on a single to left field to go up 5-0. Game 2 - L, 5-14 (9 inn.)
King's bounced back early in its second game against Arcadia and scored two runs in the first inning. After Day doubled to right center, Yochem singled to send him in to score King's first run of the afternoon.
Nick Ciszak hit a single of his own before him and Yochem advanced to second and third on a wild pitch to put them in scoring position. Graham picked up the RBI despite grounding out at first while sending Yochem home to give King's a 2-0.
Arcadia earned its first run of the game on a triple to right field, but still came up short 2-1 behind King's after the top of the second inning. King's notched a third run in the bottom of the inning after
Zach Jenkins singled to right field to put Kosar at home to get ahead 3-1.
After a scoreless third and fourth innings for both teams, the Knights scored on a single to come within one run of the Monarchs in the top of the fifth. King's responded with its fourth run of the game after
Kevin Kullman laid down a sacrifice bunt to put Ciszak on third in scoring position for Kosar to send him home to score on a groundout. The Monarchs led 4-2 going into the sixth inning.
Arcadia took over in the top of the sixth after scoring nine runs. Three Knights hit doubles in the inning, two of which accounted for three of the nine runs.
