WILLIAMSPORT, PA (April 26, 2024) -- On Friday afternoon, the King's College men's tennis team swept their six singles matches on their way to an 8-1 win over Lycoming College at Brandon Park. The Monarchs improved to 7-9 overall, while the Warriors fall to 3-12.

In singles play,
Logan Gregory defeated Luke Leach by scores of 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, while
John Toussaint downed Connor Albaugh by a pair of 6-2 decisions at No. 2 singles.
Patrick Pech won his No. 3 singles match with set victories of 6-0 and 6-1 over Matthew Baldridge, and
Brendan Turowski topped Josh Neidert with wins of 6-2 and 6-0 at No. 4 singles. Singles play continued as
Cody Zheng came out on top at No. 5 singles over Mohamed Ebeid, 6-1 and 6-0, and
Mike Bizzoco rounded out the singles sweep with wins of 6-1 and 6-4 over Dominick Philip at No. 6 singles.

The Monarchs took No. 1 singles as Gregory and Toussaint downed the Warriors pair, 8-1, while Pech and Turowski claimed No. 2 doubles by a score of 8-4. The lone setback in the match came at No. 3 doubles as Zheng and
Jacob Nelson battled before falling, 8-7 (7-5) to Lycoming's team.

The Monarchs will be back on the courts tomorrow afternoon as they host Stevens Institute of Technology at Kirby Park. The MAC Freedom match is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
