WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 27, 2024) -- The King's College men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to top-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday afternoon at Kirby Park in their Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) finale. With the loss, the Monarchs fall to 7-10 overall and 2-4 in the conference, while the Ducks improve to 11-6 and an undefeated 6-0 in the MAC Freedom.

In singles play,
Logan Gregory fell by a pair of 6-2 sets at No. 1 singles to Andrew He, while
John Toussaint dropped his No. 2 singles match by a pair of 6-0 sets to Max-William Kanz. The No. 3 singles match saw
Patrick Pech downed by sets of 6-0 and 6-1 to Samvid Andhare, while
Brendan Turowski lost by sets of 6-1 and 6-0 to Sebastian Wroe at No. 4 singles.
Cody Zheng at No. 5 singles and
Mike Bizzoco at No. 6 singles both dropped a pair of 6-0 decisions to their Duck opponents.

Gregory and Toussiant put up a fight at No. 1 doubles before falling, 8-4, while Pech and Turowski fell by a score of 8-1 at No. 2 doubles. Zheng and
Jacob Nelson wrapped up the match with an 8-0 loss at No. 3 doubles.

The Monarchs will wrap up their 2023-24 season tomorrow afternoon as they travel to Selinsgrove to take on Susquehanna University. Action is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
