PITTSTON, PA (JANUARY 10, 2025) –King's College women's ice hockey team secured a 3-2 win over the Flying Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley College at the Revolution Ice Centre on Friday night. With the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) win, the Monarchs improve to 4-6-2, 4-3-2 in conference play as Lebanon Valley moves to 8-4-1, 5-3-1. Sophomore forward
Abby Barlocker scored two goals, including one in the final 20 seconds of regulation, to lift the Monarchs past the Flying Dutchmen.
A slew of penalties came in the first period as Chelly Wolff was called for hooking at 12:13,
Amanda Sokol for interference at 13:45, Tiffany Anderson for slashing at 14:14 and
Ani Quindipan for tripping at 18:29. The game was scoreless going into the first intermission.
More penalties came in the beginning of the second period as Maeghan Howson was charged with hooking at 2:14 and Cheyenne Wilk with interference at 9:07. Lebanon Valley opened up the scoring midway through the second period as Anna Dale found the back of the net with an assist from Tiffany Anderson at 10:01 and Jess Dawe with a goal at 12:03 off assists from Addison Taylert and Leela Nemani to give them the 2-0 lead. The Monarchs answered back with a goal from
Lucy Beal at 13:49 off an assist from
Amanda Sokol. Barlocker scored her first of the night, unassisted, at 16:29 to tie the game 2-2 going into the second intermission.
In the third period, Wolff received another penalty, this time for body checking at 15:20, and

Abby Barlocker up for the game-winning goal with 19 seconds to go in regulation. The 3-2 score in favor of the Monarchs stood as time expired. Senior defenseman
Tessa Deemer tallied two blocks on the night as first year goaltender
Will McPherson posted 21 saves.
The Monarchs return to Revolution Ice Centre tomorrow, January 11 for a rematch with the Flying Dutchmen. Puck drop is set for 3 p.m.
