Women’s Ice Hockey Blanked by Lebanon Valley College

PITTSTON, PA (JANUARY 11, 2025) – The King's College women's ice hockey team dropped a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) matchup with the Flying Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley College 4-0 Saturday afternoon at the Revolution Ice Centre. With the loss, the Monarchs move to 4-7-2, 4-4-2 in conference play as Lebanon Valley improves to 9-4-1, 6-3-1.

Sky Campanile scored Lebanon Valley's first goal of the afternoon 2:32 into the first period and Leela Nemani was called for contact to the head at 3:53. Anna Dale capped off the period with a goal at 19:30 off an assist from Leela Nemani. The Dutchmen led 2-0 going into the first intermission.
Several penalties came in the second period as Ani Quindipan was called for roughing at 5:16, Abby Barlocker for body checking at 9:41, Tessa Deemer for tripping at 17:38 and Norah McCauliffe for body checking at 19:36 with time carrying into the third period.

In the final 20 minutes of regulation, Julia Schafer was penalized for tripping at 2:29 with Chelly Wolff receiving a roughing penalty at 8:24. The Dutchmen extended the lead to 3-0 midway through the third with another goal from Campanile off an assist from Alex Franke. The final penalty of the day came when Madelynn Debelis was sent to the box for body checking at 17:39. Dale's second goal at 18:29 was on an empty net. Maddie Vaughan went 9-8 in faceoffs and Lucy Beal tallied 3 blocks on the afternoon.

The Monarchs return to action on Friday, January 17 as they travel to face Stevenson at 7 p.m.
