DALLAS, PA (January 17, 2025) -- In their return to action, the King's College women's swimming team dropped a pair in a 165-13 setback to the host Misericordia University and a 170-12 loss to Bryn Mawr on Friday night in Dallas, Pa. The Monarchs now drop to 0-12 overall.
 
Mackenzie Huffer opened the meet for King's in the 200 yard freestyle as she crossed in 2:18.78, while Makenna Unvarsky got her night started in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 30.41 seconds before posting a time of 3:0.83 in the 200 yard IM.
 
Huffer returned to the pool in the 100 yard freestyle as she finished in 1:04.66 before crossing in 1:18.16 in the 100 yard backstroke. Unvarsky wrapped up the meet for the Monarchs in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:29.61.
 
King's will be back in action on Friday, January 24 as they host Lycoming College in the Scandlon Natatorium. Competition is set to begin at 6:00 p.m.
