WILKES-BARRE, PA (January 25, 2025) -- The King's College wrestling team celebrated their seniors ahead Saturday's matchup against the Lycoming Warriors. The Monarchs fell to the Warriors 25-14 in the Scandlon Auxiliary Gymnasium.

Patrick Horvath lost his dual to Kaden Majcher in a 15-5 major decision at 125.
Nick Germano battled hard in his 133 matchup against Thomas Conselyea through three periods but lost in a 9-6 decision. At 141,
Noah Clawson brought the first points on the board of the afternoon for King's as he took down Shane Perry in a 6-5 decision.
Shane Kibler the maintained momentum at 157 and defeated Wyatt Kent in a 23-7 technical fall. At 157,
Bret Murphy fell to Jayden Drummond in an 11-3 major decision.

Alex Ballantyne was dropped by Kaiden Wagner in a 20-4 technical fall.
Jacob Hachtmann was pinned by Nolen Zeigler in 4:09 at 174.
Frankie Theroux brought the Monarchs back on the board with a 9-5 decision win over Eli Crum at 184.
Jake Bobersky was victorious in his 197 bout with a 4-2 decision against James Ellis.
Richard Fronheiser competed as a heavyweight this afternoon against Michael Sipps and lost in a 9-6 decision.

King's had eight members compete in exhibition matches.
Angel Avalos defeated Quinton Bartlett in a 16-11 decision.
Jacob Torres won his first match as a Monarch by pinning Avery Rosan in 2:16. Bryan Hopkins fell to Logan Bartlett in 1:15.
Isaiah Camacho was pinned by Wyatt Frawley in 1:40.
Alex Martinez lost to Nick Parella by a 2:47 pinfall.
Josh Brown dropped Matthew Knapp in a 7-2 decision.
Ryan Tran suffered a 21-4 technical fall loss to Ivan Neal.
Nick Valenzano was pinned by Robbie West in 2:10.

The Monarchs will have a short turnaround as they will take on Centenary (NJ) on Monday, January 27
th at 7 p.m. The squad will travel to Oswego State on Wednesday, January 29
th at 7 p.m.
