WILKES-BARRE, PA (October 18, 2025) -- The King's College men's tennis team concluded its fall duals schedule with a 7-0 loss to Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday afternoon at Kirby Park. The matchup also marked the start of MAC Freedom Conference play for the Monarchs. With the result, King's dropped to 0-2 on the season while Stevens improved to 2-0.

Stevens controlled the action from the outset, sweeping the doubles lineup to claim the early point and carrying that momentum into singles. The duo
Tim John and Logan Tompkins dropped their No. 1 doubles match 6-0.
Amir Samadian and
Gavin Hall fell 6-0 at No. 2 doubles, while
Zackary Bedwell and
William Savner rounded out doubles play with the same result.

Stevens maintained their dominance through singles play, capturing all six flights. John picked up a game at No. 1 singles before falling 8‑1. Tomkins lost at No. 2. singles 8-0, while Hall and Samadian surrendered the same result on court three and four, respectively. Savner and Bedwell rounded out singles play with a pair of 8-0 losses.
Members of the King's team will wrap up the fall slate by competing in the Wilkes Doubles Invitational, tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
