WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 20, 2025) -- With the holiday season around the corner, the King's College baseball team is continuing its tradition of annual community service projects as they will run the program's annual Stockings for Soldiers Drive.

This is the third community service event the Monarch squad has planned throughout the 2025-26 academic year.

Stockings will be distributed to troops that are currently serving, veterans at our local VA hospitals, and homeless veterans. You can donate completed stockings or if you prefer, you can donate items to be added to other stockings. Suggested items for stockings include protein bars, instant coffee, snacks, gloves, mittens, DVD's, books, travel size hygiene products, puzzles, decks of cards, and small games.

Please drop off any donations at the main desk in the King's College Scandlon Gymnasium by Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
