LA PLUME, PA (November 30, 2025)- The King's College women's basketball team continued its strong early-season form on Sunday afternoon, delivering a complete wire-to-wire performance in a 65–41 road win at Keystone College. The Monarchs (now 4–2) controlled the game from the opening tip, outscoring the Giants in every quarter and showcasing balanced scoring, relentless pressure, and dominant rebounding.
King's opened with a 20-point first quarter and never looked back, using strong ball movement and transition scoring to build a 31–23 halftime lead. The Monarchs' defense tightened even further in the second half, holding Keystone to just 19 total points after the break.
Cadie Lewis led all scorers with 20 points, knocking down three triples while adding four rebounds and three steals to fuel the Monarchs on both ends. Lauren Casey recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, anchoring King's on the glass. Claire Aufiero was outstanding inside, posting 12 points and a game-high 13 rebounds for her own double-double, along with two assists and a block.
Gianna Dickson added 11 points, four steals, and three assists in an all-around effort, while Layla Orth provided valuable minutes off the bench with three points, five rebounds, and strong perimeter defense. The Monarchs finished with a commanding 50–34 rebounding advantage and forced Keystone into 24 turnovers, converting them into 29 points the other way.
The Monarchs' depth again played a role, with multiple players contributing defensively and on the boards to help seal the team's fourth consecutive win.
King's is back on the road for a non-conference contest on Tuesday, December 2, when they take on Penn State Schuylkill in Schuylkill Haven, PA. Tip-off is set for 6:00 PM.
