HOBOKEN, NJ (February 11, 2025) -- The King's College wrestling team fell to Stevens 45-10 on Tuesday night. The Monarchs had seven up-and-coming wrestlers compete against the Ducks to gain experience on the collegiate mat.

Patrick Horvath won at 125 due to a forfeit by the Stevens.
Nick Germano was victorious at 133 with an 11-0 major decision over Nanci Robinson.
Jacob Torres fell to Luke Hoerle in a 20-4 technical fall at 141.
Brian Hopkins lost his 149 bout to Carmen Cortese by a 2:11 pinfall. At 157,
Jordan Bentley was pinned by Tyler Roe in 1:35.

Isaiah Camacho was defeated by Chris Stathopoulous in 2:36 at 165.
Alex Ballantyne lost to Branden Bulatao at 174 in a 21-6 technical fall.
Jake Bobersky fell Joel Martsinovsky in 2:29 at 184.
Richard Fronheiser had a 24-8 technical fall loss to Blaise Wagner at 197. In the heavyweight match, Nich Valenzano was pinned by Max Ruiz in 4:01.

Ryan Tran competed in an exhibition match at heavyweight against Ben Rosa. The Monarch battled hard but succumbed to a 14-4 major decision loss.

King's will take on cross town rival Wilkes in the Marts Center on Friday, February 14
th at 7 p.m. to end the regular season. The NCAA Southeast Regional Championships are scheduled for February 28
th – March 1
st.
