WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 12, 2025) -- Eleven days ahead of their opening game, Head Coach Jerry Greeley announced the King's College baseball team's 2025 schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The Monarchs are set for a 39-game slate this upcoming season with 18 slated for their home diamond at Lipo Field.

King's will begin their 2025 season on the road for the first eight match ups, including a round robin at Wilkes on Feb. 23 to take on the Colonels and Albright before their neutral site game at Schautz Stadium in Dunmore against Penn State Scranton on Mar. 4. A weekend in Williamsport features a doubleheader at Lycoming on Mar. 8 before facing the Warriors for a single game on Mar. 9. The Monarchs are scheduled for a spring training trip to The Ripken Experience in Aberdeen, Md. to face off with Central Pennsylvania on Mar. 11 and Hood on Mar. 12 before returning north.

Their home opener will also be their Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) opener as King's hosts FDU-Florham on Saturday, Mar. 15 at noon at Lipo Field before finishing the three-game series on the road in Madison, N.J. on Mar. 16. King's will then host three consecutive non-conference foes in Penn State Wilkes-Barre on Mar. 17, Lancaster Bible on Mar. 18, and Penn State Hazleton on Mar. 20 before welcoming Stevens to Wilkes-Barre on Mar. 21 for their single game contest. The Monarchs then hit the road for their MAC Freedom doubleheader in Hoboken, N.J. on Mar. 22.

The next stretch includes a non-conference road trip to Penn College at historic Bowman Field on Mar. 25 and a home contest with Valley Forge on Mar. 26 before resuming their MAC Freedom schedule at home against Arcadia on Mar. 28 for the single game with the doubleheader at the Knights on Mar. 29.

The month of April opens on the road at Penn State Scranton on Apr. 1 then back at Lipo Field on Apr. 2 against John Jay. Remaining non-conference tests include home games against Penn State Hazleton on Apr. 9 and Penn State Schuylkill on Apr. 22 with their final non-conference trip up at Marywood on Apr. 8.

Their remaining MAC Freedom campaign will include a single game at Delaware Valley on Apr. 4 with the doubleheader at Lipo Field on Apr. 5, a road trip to Lebanon Valley on Apr. 11 before hosting the Flying Dutchmen for the doubleheader on Apr. 12, a home game against Misericordia on Apr. 16 before taking on the Cougars in Dallas for a doubleheader on Apr. 17, and their final trip of the regular season down to DeSales on Apr. 25 before welcoming the Bulldogs to Wilkes-Barre for their regular-season finale on Apr. 26.

The 2025 MAC Freedom Semifinals are scheduled for the weekend of May 2 to May 3 at the higher seed with the 2025 MAC Freedom Champions set to be crowned the weekend of May 9 to May 10.
