WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 14, 2025) -- The King's College wrestling team took on cross town rival Wilkes on Friday night. The Monarchs fell 34-13 to the Colonels.

Patrick Horvath was defeated at 125 by Connor Kerwin in a 10-4 decision.
Cole Anderson was victorious in an 8-0 decision at 133 against Noah Rosa. At 141,
Noah Clawson took a 21-4 technical fall defeat to Ryan Santiago.
Shane Kibler dropped Jacob Bettencourt in a 22-5 technical fall at 141.
Bret Murphy had a close 157 matchup against Colton Thorpe at but succumbed to a 3-1 decision loss.

At 165,
Nick Costello lost to Caleb Lawrence in a 21-4 technical fall.
Jacob Hachtmann had his hand raised as he won in a 22-6 technical fall over Jared Bilinski at 174. Christopher Nuss of Wilkes won at 184 due to an injury default.
Richard Fronheiser was pinned at 197 by Cameron Butka in 4:57. At heavyweight,
Nick Valenzano lost to Caleb Burkhart by pinfall in 2:02.

th – March 1
