MANAHAWKIN, NJ (February 19, 2025) -- The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) proudly announced that it has honored 69 Division III teams with the esteemed 2024 National Academic Team Award on Tuesday. Among the 69 honorees was the King's College field hockey team.
This prestigious acknowledgment is granted to programs that have achieved an exceptional team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year. The Monarchs have earned this award every year but two since the program began in 2003, earning the accolade in 18 of the 20 years it has been awarded. King's also joins Arcadia, Eastern, Stevens, Stevenson, Widener, and York (Pa.) as one of the seven teams from the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) recognized.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is a nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States. The mission of the organization is to champion, strengthen, and celebrate field hockey coaches and the game. The NFHCA strives to cultivate and recognize the professional contributions of its membership and to foster and promote the growth of the sport. The NFHCA is responsible for providing a recognizable presence and voice in regard to legislation affecting the sport as well as interscholastic and intercollegiate programs.
