SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, PA (February 5, 2025) -- The King's College men's volleyball team swept the Nittany Lions of Penn State Schuylkill 3-0 on Wednesday night.

The Monarchs took care of business in the first set with a 25-10 win.

The second set was a battle as King's edged out a 25-21 victory.

The Monarchs maintained their momentum and defeated the Nittany Lions 25-9 in the third set.

Alex Martellacci led the team with eight kills, three aces, four digs, and a hitting percentage of .368.
Aiden Glasgow dished out 10 assists with two aces.
Luke Hammond collected four digs and one kill.

The Nittany Lions' Reno Plesnarski produced seven kills and five digs. Liam Ruggie had nine helpers with two blocks. Jayden Ferdinand picked up five digs for the night.

King's will have their home opener on Saturday, February 8
th at 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. against Virginia Wesleyan and Fisher. The squad will be back on the road on Friday, February 14
th at 6 p.m. to take on Elms College.
