HERSHEY, PA (February 8, 2025) – The King's College women's ice hockey team dropped a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) matchup 4-1 on Saturday Afternoon at HersheyPark Arena. The Monarchs fall to 5-13-3, 5-10-3 in conference play as the Flying Dutchmen improve to 14-5-1, 11-4-1.
Brighton Wallin scored the lone goal for the Monarchs.
The Dutchmen were dominant from the start, scoring a goal in each period as the Monarchs searched for an answer for their offensive efforts. Cheyenne Wilk scored the first Lebanon Valley goal, unassisted, at 16:24 in the first period. Addison Taylert assisted Anna Dale in her second period goal at 15:47. Chelly Wolff extended the lead to 3-0 with a goal at 0:53 with help from Laura Radford and Leela Nemani.
Becca Allen was penalized for tripping at 6:32 in the third, resulting in a power play goal for Sky Campanile at 7:52 with assists from Dale and Erin Yorke. Wallin got the Monarchs on the board with a goal at 11:10 off assists from
Jordan Dittmar and
Abby Barlocker. Lebanon Valley held onto the 4-1 lead as time expired.
Ani Quindipan led the team with three blocks as
Hayley Packer finished the night with 34 saves in net.
The Monarchs return to action on Friday, February 14 as they host Wilkes for a 7 p.m. puck drop at the Revolution Ice Centre.
