Ava Butcher set a new indoor program record in the 400 meter dash, while
Maddy Armitage and
Victoria Zultevicz won their respective events to lead the King's College women's indoor track and field team at the Frank Colden Invitational at Ursinus.

On the Track
60 Meter Dash
Abigail Springer was the top King's finisher in 8.37 seconds, just one spot out of a qualifying time for the finals, while
Sophia Hahn posted a time of 8.76 seconds. Toshel Goffe of Medgar Evers had the top time in 7.90 seconds.

200 Meter Dash
Abigail Springer placed sixth overall in 27.44 seconds, while
Ava Butcher took 11
th in the field of 41 in 28.02 seconds.
Sophia Hahn rounded out the trio as she recorded a time of 30.23 seconds. Emily Camlet of Drew was the top finisher in 26.03 seconds.

400 Meter Dash
Ava Butcher took sixth in the event in a new program-record time of 1:02.70, topping Srah Ross's time of 1:03.03 from the 2018 Collegeville Classic, while
Sarah Hartzell finished in 1:13.14. Drew's Emily Camlet was the top finisher in 59.15 seconds.

800 Meter Run
Lindsey Eyer led a pair of Monarchs as she posted a time of 2:37.37, while
Samantha Adams recorded a time of 2:59.87. Catherine Catipay of Felician won the race in 2:20.99.
Mile
Mara Ryan was the lone Monarch in the race as she crossed in a personal best time of 6:28.58. Swarthmore's Alina Irvine won the event in 5:19.79.

High Jump
Maddy Armitage won the high jump as she cleared a height of 1.55 meters, while
Abby Thompson finished 10
th with a mark of 1.40 meters.
Dani Rimsky rounded out the trio with a height of 1.30 meters.

Pole Vault
Dani Rimsky finished the event with a height of 2.15 meters. Mia Bompensa of the host Ursinus won the pole vault with a height of 3.05 meters.

Shot Put
Brandy Varner was King's top finisher in the event with a mark of 11.63 meters, while
Caitlin Kirk took 12
th out of 42 throwers with a throw of 10.31 meters.
Sophia Lukowski finished right behind in 13
th with a toss of 10.18 meters. Gallaudet's Midajah Davis was the top finisher with a mark of 12.81 meters.

Weight Throw
King's swept fourth, fifth, and sixth led by
Delaney Hilferty with a mark of 14.77 meters, while
Brandy Varner finished fifth with a throw of 14.76 meters.
Katey Shoemaker was next in sixth with a toss of 14.55 meters, while Cailtin Kirk was not far behind in eighth with a mark of 13.45 meters. Delaware State's Amber Pelle won the event with a throw of 15.63 meters.

Multi
Victoria Zultevicz won the pentathlon with 2,658 points. She opened the day with a second-place finish in the 60 meter hurdles in 9.71 seconds before clearing a height of 1.28 meters in the high jump. She took third in her next two events with a throw of 8.71 meters in the shot put and a jump of 4.90 meters in the long jump before finishing the pentathlon with a time of 2:44.23 in the 800 meter run.

King's is set for a busy weekend ahead as they are set to send student-athletes to the D3 Elite Meet hosted by Nazareth on Friday, February 14 and individuals to both the D3 Elite Meet and the Susquehanna Invitational in Selinsgrove, Pa. on Saturday, February 15.
