ORLANDO, FL (March 10, 2025) -- The King's College women's tennis team returned to action as they opened their spring training trip in Florida with a 7-0 setback to Seton Hill. The Monarchs fall to 0-3 overall, while the Griffins improve to 1-3.

In singles action,
Ashley Kenia fell by a score of 8-0 at No. 1 singles to Carissa Shepard, while
Carlee Dellose dropped an 8-0 decision to Maria Pereda in the No. 2 singles match. The No. 3 singles bout saw
Hailey D'Amato lose in a tough 8-4 final to Alexandra Wolf, while
Sarah Stettler fell, 8-1, at No. 4 singles to Kaylee Kanuka.
Emma Rooney battled to an 8-4 decision at No. 5 singles to Alycia Derr, while
Morgan Eiswerth dropped an 8-2 decision at No. 6 singles.

In doubles play, Kenia and Dellose fell by a score of 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, while D'Amato and
Sarah Stettler dropped a 6-2 decision at No. 2 doubles. Eiswerth and
Betsy Allen rounded out doubles action with a 6-0 setback at No. 3 doubles.

The Monarchs are back in action tomorrow morning as they take on Loras College at 8:00 a.m. in Orlando, FL.
