Monarch Women's Tennis Fall to Ohio Wesleyan

ORLANDO, FL (March 12, 2025) -- The King's College women's tennis team fell, 7-0, to Ohio Wesleyan University on Wednesday afternoon on day three of their annual spring training trip. The Monarchs move to 0-5 overall, while the Battling Bishops improve to 3-1.
 
In doubles play, the No. 2 pair of Hailey D'Amato and Sarah Stettler put up a fight before falling 7-5. Ashley Kenia and Carlee Dellose dropped their No. 1 doubles match, 6-1, while Morgan Eiswerth and Betsy Allen lost by a score of 6-0 to their Battling Bishops' foes at No. 3 doubles.
 
Kenia fell by scores of 6-0 and 6-4 at No. 1 singles to Frankie Nuss, while Dellose dropped sets of 6-0 and 6-2 to Riley Brokaw at No. 2 singles. The No. 3 singles match saw D'Amato downed, 6-0 and 6-3, by Emma Pzedpelski, while Stettler lost by a pair of 6-1 sets to Evaleigh Garnett at No. 4 singles. At No. 5 singles, Emma Rooney fell, 6-2 and 6-4, to Maisie Dugger, and Allen lost by sets of 6-1 and 6-0 at No. 6 singles to Ryleigh Tillman.
 
The Monarchs conclude their Florida stint tomorrow morning as they take on University of Northwestern (MN) at 7:30 a.m.
