WILLIAMSPORT, PA (March 21, 2025) -- The King's College women's tennis team picked up their first win this spring in dominant fashion, defeating the host Penn College 7-0 on Friday afternoon at the Central PA Tennis Center. With the win, the Monarchs move to 1-6, while the Wildcats drop to 0-6.

Ashley Kenia dominated Ellen Buckley at No. 1 singles by a pair of 6-2 sets, and
Kiki Nweje made her collegiate debut with wins of 6-2 and 6-1 over Lauren Peck at No. 2 singles.
Carlee Dellose came out on top, 6-2 and 7-5, at No. 3 singles over Faith Murray, while
Sarah Stettler and
Morgan Eiswerth both swept their opponents with a pair of 6-0 sets at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively.
Betsy Allen picked up the final singles victory in the No.6 match by default.

Kenia and Dellose downed their No. 1 doubles pair, 6-1, and Stettler and Nweje defeated the No. 2 team, 6-4. Eiswerth and Allen won by default at No. 3 doubles.

The Monarchs are off for the next week before returning to action on Saturday, March 29 on the road at Elizabethtown. Action is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
