ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (March 29, 2025) -- On Saturday afternoon, the King's College women's tennis team battled before narrowly falling, 4-3, to Elizabethtown College. With the loss, the Monarchs fall to 1-7, while the Blue Jays improve to 2-5.

Ashley Kenia opened singles play with wins of 6-1 and 6-2 at No. 1 singles over Gabriella Palladini.
Carlee Dellose then downed Adriana Burmeister by a pair of 6-3 sets at No. 2 singles. At No. 3 singles,
Sarah Stettler defeated Katie Balzano by sets of 6-1 and 6-3.

The lone doubles win came at No. 1 doubles as Kenia and Dellose topped the Blue Jays 6-3.

Elsewhere in singles play,
Morgan Eiswerth fell, 6-1 and 6-2, to Taylor Dukes at No. 4 singles, while
Betsy Allen dropped the No. 5 singles match, 6-1 and 6-4, to Hannah Walker.
Madeline Sirianni was downed by a pair of 6-0 sets at No. 6 singles to Emily Flynn. Stetler and Eiswerth then fell, 6-0, in their No. 2 doubles match, while Allen and Sirianni lost, 6-2, at No. 3 doubles.

The Monarchs will be back in action tomorrow morning as they host Wilkes University in non-conference play at 10:00 a.m. at Kirby Park.
