WILKES-BARRE, PA (March 26, 2025) -- On Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Teams for women's basketball. Among this year's honorees were three from the King's College women's basketball team in junior
Gianna Dickson and sophomores
Cadie Lewis and
Layla Orth.
Dickson earns her second CSC Academic All-District nod as ®the junior biology major appeared and started in all 25 games, averaging 9.1 points on 31.7% shooting with a team-high 37 threes while adding 27 assists, 17 steals, and four blocks. Lewis picks up her first career honor by the College Sports Communicators as the sophomore physician assistant major also appeared and started in all 25 games, averaging 7.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game with 98 assists, 39 steals, and four blocks. Orth rounds out the trio with her first recognition as the sophomore physician assistant major appeared in all 25 games with two starts, collecting 34 rebounds with 19 assists, 19 steals, a block, and 3.4 points per game.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
