ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (March 29, 2025) -- The King's College men's tennis team was blanked 7-0 by Elizabethtown College on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Monarchs drop to 3-6, while the Blue Jays improve to 3-5.

In singles play,
John Toussaint fell by sets of 6-2 and 6-4 at No. 1 singles to Stefanos Billis, while
Patrick Pech battled in No. 2 singles play with Max Lauver, winning set one 7-6 (7-5) before dropping the next two 6-4 and 6-2. At No. 3 singles,
Cody Zheng went to three sets with Austin Kohler, losing the first 6-3 and winning the second 6-1 before dropping the third 6-3. The No. 4 singles match saw
Brendan Turowski also go to three sets, winning the first 6-3 before falling 6-3 and 10-3 in the next two.
Gavin Hall fell by a pair of 6-1 sets in the No. 5 singles match to Kyler Henne, as he rallied from a 6-4 deficit in the first to take the second 6-2, eventually falling 10-7 in the third.

Toussaint and Pech picked up the lone win in the match at No. 1 doubles, defeating the Blue Jays 6-2. The No. 2 doubles pair of Turowski and Zheng fell, 6-2, and the team of
Jacob Nelson and
Gavin Hall lost by a score of 6-1 at No. 3 doubles.

The Monarchs have a quick turnaround as they take on cross-town rival Wilkes University tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. at Kirby Park.
