GLENSIDE, PA (April 13, 2025) --
Carlee Dellose and
Sarah Stettler collected singles victories to lead the King's College women's tennis team in a 5-2 setback to Arcadia University on Sunday afternoon. With the setback in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) contest, the Monarchs fall to 2-9 overall and 0-2 in the conference, while the Knights improve to 5-4 with a 1-2 MAC Freedom mark.

Dellose picked up her win at No. 3 singles as she topped Leah Hatcher by scores of 6-4 and 7(5)-6. Stettler defeated Jada Young at No. 4 singles, rallying back from a 6-2 loss in the first set to sweep the next two by a pair of 6-2 victories.

At No. 1 singles,
Ashley Kenia fell to Savannah Falk by scores of 6-3 and 6-4, while
Kiki Nweje dropped a No. 2 singles match, 7(7)-6 and 6-3, to Karolina Iordache. The No. 5 singles match saw
Betsy Allen fall, 6-3 and 6-2, to Jaelyn DaSilva, while
Morgan Eiswerth was downed, 6-1 and 6-0, by Link Bertrand at No. 6 singles.

In doubles play, Kenia and Dellose fell in a tough 7-5 match at No. 1 doubles, while both Nweje and Stettler at No. 2 doubles and Eiswerth and Allen at No. 3 doubles lost by scores of 6-1.

The Monarchs are now set for a three-match home stand in their conference schedule, beginning with a match against Lebanon Valley on Tuesday, April 15 at 3:00 p.m. at Kirby Park.
