DALLAS, PA (April 17, 2025) --
Katey Shoemaker won two events, while Madison Armitage and
Brandy Varner each collected wins to lead the King's College women's outdoor track and field team at the Misericordia Invitational on Tuesday.

On the Track
400 Meter Dash
Samantha Adams led King's as she placed seventh overall in 1:05.86, while
Lindsey Eyer posted a personal best time of 1:06.92. Grace Morningstar of Misericordia was the top finisher in 1:01.18.

1,500 Meter Run
Shelby Shepanski crossed in 6:20.15. Misericordia's Brianna Wagner won the event in 4:52.88.

In the Field
High Jump
Maddy Armitage won the event as she cleared a height of 1.52 meters, while Abigail Thompson placed third with a mark of 1.42 meters.
Dani Rimsky finished sixth as she cleared a height of 1.37 meters.

Long Jump
Victoria Zultevicz finished with a mark of 4.69 meters. Scranton's Samantha Sharrow won the event with a mark of 5.53 meters.

Discus Throw
Caitlin Kirk placed second overall with a throw of 33.50 meters, while
Delaney Hilferty finished third with a mark of 31.96 meters.
Sophia Lukowski took sixth with a toss of 28.61 meters, and
Katey Shoemaker placed eighth with a throw of 25.12 meters.
Sarah Hartzell rounded out the group with a mark of 19.87 meters. Marywood's Rosalyn Page was the top finisher with a mark of 34.86 meters.

Hammer Throw
Katey Shoemaker won the event with a throw of 48.41 meters, while
Delaney Hilferty took second with a mark of 45.37 meters, while
Caitlin Kirk placed third with a throw of 45.26 meters, and
Anna Bellucci placed fourth with a toss of 42.77 meters.
Sophia Lukowski placed sixth with a toss of 35.32 meters to round out a good outing for King's.

Javelin Throw
Katey Shoemaker was the top finisher with a throw of 33.92 meters, while
Sarah Hartzell finished with a toss of 23.16 meters.

Shot Put
Brandy Varner won the event with a mark of 11.82 meters, while
Caitlin Kirk took third with a throw of 10.88 meters.
Sophia Lukowski finished fourth with a toss of 9.96 meters, and
Victoria Zultevicz recorded a mark of 7.72 meters.

King's will be off for the Easter holiday before returning to action in their regular-season finale. The Monarchs are set to host the Monarch Open on Friday, April 25 at the Betzler Outdoor Track.
