WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 24, 2025) -- On a beautiful spring Thursday afternoon, the King's College men's tennis team fell, 7-0, to Lebanon Valley College in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play. With the setback at Kirby Park, the Monarchs drop to 4-10 overall and 1-3 in the standings, while the Flying Dutchmen jump to 10-10 with a 4-1 conference mark.

Patrick Pech fell by scores of 6-2 and 6-3 at No. 1 singles to Zach Schrader, while
Cody Zheng dropped a pair of 6-0 sets to Jake Erb at No. 2 singles. The No. 3 singles match saw Michael Schuetz downed by a pair of 6-1 sets, while
Amir Samadian lost sets of 6-1 and 6-0 at No. 4 singles to Colin Brusse. At No. 5 singles,
Gavin Hall fell by matching 6-0 sets to Ethan Luu, and
Zackary Bedwell dropped a pair of 6-1 sets at No. 6 singles to Jared Hostetter.

In doubles play, Pech and Zheng fell 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, while Turowski and
Jacob Nelson dropped a 6-3 decision at No. 2 doubles. Samadian and Hall rounded out doubles play with a 7-5 setback at No. 3 doubles.

The Monarchs will continue their busy weekend tomorrow afternoon as they host DeSales University in MAC Freedom play at 4:00 p.m. at Kirby Park.
