Caitlin Kirk and
Katey Shoemaker medaled in the weight throw to pace the King's College outdoor track and field teams on day one of the 2025 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The women's team currently leads 12 scoring teams with 21 points, while the men are in ninth out of 11 scoring teams with four points.

4x800 Meter Relay
The King's team of
Ben Wnuk,
Owen Foytack,
Tyler Petty, and
Preston Klem placed fifth overall in a program record time of 7:54.26. The team from Messiah won the event in 7:41.00.

The women's team of
Julia Johnson,
Samantha Adams,
Lindsey Eyer, and
Cecilia Chipriano landed a spot on the podium as they took seventh in 10:22.83. The team from Lebanon Valley topped the field in 9:31.14.

In the Field
Hammer Throw
Carnell Kemp led King's in 12
th with a throw of 43.32 meters, while
Kaleb Beers recorded a personal best mark of 39.05 meters.
Joseph Schneider posted a toss of 36.56 meters, and
Brady Rutkoski finished with a personal best throw of 36.05 meters. Widener's Isaac Almoney was the top finisher with a throw of 60.60 meters.

Caitlin Kirk earned silver in the event with a personal best mark of 49.91 meters, while
Katey Shoemaker brought home bronze with a throw of 49.11 meters.
Delaney Hilferty also finished on the podium in fourth with a toss of 45.68 meters.
Anna Bellucci finished just outside the top 10 in 11
th with a throw of 42.22 meters, while
Sophia Lukowski placed 20
th out of 42 throwers with a personal best mark of 37.33 meters. Widener's Isabel Rodriguez won the event with a throw of 50.25 meters.

Multis
Decathlon
Travis Lane is currently in 5th place after the first half of the decathlon events with 3,064 points. He opened the day with a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash in 11.70 seconds before placing sixth in the long jump with a mark of 5.79 meters. Lane then placed seventh in the shot put with a mark of 10.06 meters and tied for fourth in the high jump with a height of 1.74 meters. He finished the day with a second-place finish in the 400 meter dash in a personal best time of 51.54 seconds. Messiah's Gavin Dunkerton leads the field midway through 3,243 points.

Heptathlon
Victoria Zultevicz sits in 2nd place after day one of the heptathlon with 2,449 points. She began the day with the top time in the 100 meter hurdles in 15.63 seconds before placing fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.36 meters. Zultevicz took third in the shot put with a toss of 8.97 meters before ending the day with the first-place finish in the 200 meter dash in a personal best time of 26.59 seconds. Lebanon Valley's Anna Sawicki leads the field with 2,836 points.
