NEW ORLEANS, LA (May 28, 2025) -- All Region honors for the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season were announced last week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the regular season. This season, the King's College women's outdoor track and field program placed five student-athletes on All-Region teams as seniors
Maddy Armitage and
Victoria Zultevicz, juniors
Katey Shoemaker and
Brandy Varner, and sophomore
Caitlin Kirk earned recognition.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team. Data is compiled
based on Regional TFRI. Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
Armitage collects her first career USTFCCCA All-Region honors as the senior high jumper ranked third in the Mid-Atlantic Region with an outdoor program record height of 1.62 meters at the Misericordia Twilight Meet on April 4.
Zultevicz picks up her first outdoor USTFCCCA All-Region accolade and second in her career. She smashed her own outdoor program record in the pole vault at the Monarch Open on April 25 with a height of 3.60 meters to rank fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Varner was named All-Region in both the shot put and the discus throw this outdoor season for her third consecutive outdoor discus throw All-Region honors, first outdoor shot put recognition, and sixth and seventh accolades in her career. The junior recorded a mark of 13.01 meters in the shot put at the AARTFC Regional Championships at Williams on May 14 which ranked third in the Mid-Atlantic Region while leading the region in the discus throw with an outdoor program record mark of 46.09 meters from the Widener Final Qualifier on May 12.
Shoemaker earns her second straight All-Region honors in the hammer throw and fourth overall in her career. The junior ranked second in the Mid-Atlantic Region with a season-best mark of 51.75 meters from the AARTFC Regional Championships at Williams on May 14.
Kirk had a solid sophomore campaign as she was named All-Region in the hammer throw for her first career accolades. She posted a mark of 49.91 meters in the event at the 2025 MAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships to earn the silver medal on May 1.
The Monarchs join 15 previous USTFCCCA All-Region honorees in the women's outdoor program history while marking the third consecutive season a King's women's outdoor track and field athlete appeared on the All-Region list.
