NEWTOWN, PA (May 9, 2025) -- On Friday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office announced the 2025 All-MAC Freedom Softball Team, and King's College senior pitcher Emily Novicki earned All-MAC Freedom Second Team recognition as voted on by the conference coaches.

Novicki put an exclamation mark on her career as a Monarch this season, climbing the ranks of the record books to finish second all-time in career strikeouts with 354. She posted a 2.04 ERA in 99.1 innings pitched of 16 appearances, picking up seven wins with 14 complete games and three shutouts. She fanned 100 batters and limited her foes to a .251 batting average in the circle this season. At the plate, she posted a .333 batting average, .374 slugging percentage, and .407 on-base percentage with 16 hits, three RBIs, three runs, and two doubles.

Among the MAC Freedom, she ranked second in strikeouts, third in ERA and opposing batting average, seventh in innings pitched, and 10th in wins. Against conference foes, she fanned 46, which ranked second and tossed 47.0 innings which was fifth. Novicki collected two MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Week accolades as well this season for her efforts.

Misericordia's Emily Susanj was named Player of the Year, while FDu-Florham's Erin Sinatra was tabbed Pitcher of the Year. Lebanon Valley collected two major awards as Holly Grube was Co-Rookie of the Year, and Scot Adams picked up Coach of the Year honors. Allison Mitloff of Stevens rounded out the major award winners as Co-Rookie of the Year.
