WILKES-BARRE, PA (July 16, 2025) -- On Wednesday morning, Head Coach Mike Kolinovsky announced three upcoming events this summer for the King's College track and field programs.

From Monday, August 4 to Thursday, August 7, the Monarchs will host both its "Little Monarchs" Track and Field Camp and their first Speed Camp. Both camps will run from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the Betzler Track and Field Complex. Participants will be instructed by King's track and field coaching staff and several student-athletes. Cost to attend either is $80 per participants, $25 per individual day, or $70 for a multiple participants or King's employees.

King's will then host it's annual Throws Open on Saturday, August 9 at the Betzler Track and Field Complex. To enter, email Coach Kolinovsky (michaelkolinovsky@kings.edu). Each event will have trials and finals with the top nine participants qualifying for the finals. Schedule is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. with the women's javelin followed by the men's javelin. Both the discus throw and shot put will begin when javelin is completed. At the conclusion of the discus throw, the women's and men's hammer will commence. A final time schedule will be released at the close of entries. Cost to participate is $25 for one event or $40 for multiple events.
