NEWTOWN, PA (January 27,2026)— On Tuesday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office released its weekly honors, with King's College women's track and field senior Brandy Varner earning MAC Field Athlete of the Week honors.

Varner won the shot put at Moravian's Hounds Classic with a personal-best throw of 13.67 meters, ranking first in the conference, first in the region, and seventh nationally. She also took third in the weight throw with a distance of 15.28 meters.

This is the fifth time in Varner's career that she has earned MAC Field Athlete of the Week honors and her first during the indoor season.
