NEW ORLEANS, LA (January 30, 2026) — A strong academic performance this semester punctuated a competitive cross country season, as both the King's College men's and women's programs were recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for ranking among all NCAA Division III teams in terms of team GPA for the Fall 2025 semester.
To earn All-Academic distinction, teams must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, along with other qualifiers.
The women's team tied for 20th overall out of 219 programs with a 3.79 team GPA, highlighted by perfect 4.0 GPAs from
Cecilia Chipriano,
Evelyn Sahd, and
Kat Smith, while the remainder of the roster recorded GPAs of 3.4 or higher. The men's team finished tied for 44th out of 201 programs with a 3.54 team GPA, led by a 4.0 GPA from
Casimir Glaude and a 3.93 GPA from
Ben Wnuk.
Academic consistency continues to define the Monarchs, as this semester marks the 15th out of 16 years that both the men's and women's cross country teams, led by Head Coach Mike Kolinovsky, have been recognized with this award for their classroom success.
