NEWTOWN, PA (November 3, 2026) -- King's College men's swimming sophomore Connor Scheckner was named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Swimmer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.

Scheckner turned in a dominant week in the pool, helping the Monarchs to a pair of impressive team performances. He opened the week with victories in the 200-yard individual medley (2:03.18) and 100-yard backstroke (53.98) as King's defeated Messiah for the first time since 2019 at the MAC Quad Meet. Scheckner followed with two individual wins and two relay victories in a tri-meet sweep of SUNY Delhi and Gallaudet, claiming the 50-yard backstroke in a Kunsela Hall pool-record time of 26.12 and the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:05.61. He also swam on the winning 200-yard medley relay team and the pool-record 200-yard freestyle relay squad that finished in 1:38.50.

Scheckner has been a key contributor for the Monarchs throughout the season, continuing to post top performances in both individual and relay events while helping lead King's to a strong start in dual and invitational competition.

This marks the fourth MAC Swimmer of the Week honor of Scheckner's career.

The Monarchs return to action on Saturday, competing at the Stevenson Tri-Meet in Owings Mills, Md. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.
