NEWTOWN, PA (February 10, 2026) -- The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced its weekly awards on Tuesday morning, with King's College senior Brandy Varner earning her third consecutive MAC Field Athlete of the Week honor.

Varner earns the recognition after another record-breaking performance at the Frank Colden Invitational, hosted by Ursinus College at the Floy Lewis Bakes Center. She broke her own program record in the weight throw with a winning mark of 17.37 meters, the top throw in the MAC this season and ninth nationally. Varner also captured first place in the shot put at the meet with a mark of 12.57 meters.

The award marks Varner's seventh career MAC Field Athlete of the Week honor and her third during the indoor season.
