Joiner, Krappa Recognized as NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction

MANAHAWKIN, NJ (February 13, 2026)—On Friday morning, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) recognized 543 student-athletes nationwide as 2025 Division III Scholars of Distinction. Representing King's College field hockey were juniors Reagan Joiner and Davina Krappa, earning the program two selections this season.

The award recognizes outstanding undergraduate student-athletes who have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. Joiner and Krappa were two of 54 student-athletes honored from the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC). For Krappa, the distinction marks the third time in her career she has earned the accolade, while Joiner receives the honor for the second time.

Two NFHCA collegiate academic awards are yet to be unveiled  — the NFHCA National Academic Team awards on February 17, and concluding with the announcement of the National Scholar-Athlete on February 19.

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) is a nonprofit organization serving field hockey coaches and supporters of the game from across the United States. The mission of the organization is to champion, strengthen, and celebrate field hockey coaches and the game. The NFHCA strives to cultivate and recognize the professional contributions of its membership and to foster and promote the growth of the sport. The NFHCA is responsible for providing a recognizable presence and voice in regard to legislation affecting the sport as well as interscholastic and intercollegiate programs.
