NEWTOWN, PA (February 3, 2026)— On Tuesday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced its weekly awards, with King's College senior Brandy Varner earning her second consecutive MAC Field Athlete of the Week honor.

Varner earns the honor after turning in a dominant showing at the Nazareth Challenge Cup. She won the shot put with a personal-best mark of 13.68 meters, the top throw in the region this season and 10th nationally. Varner also captured the weight throw title with a personal-best toss of 16.02 meters, breaking the program record and ranking second in the region.

The award is the sixth MAC Field Athlete of the Week honor of Varner's career and her second during the indoor season.
