ANNVILLE, PA (March 28, 2026) -- The King's College women's tennis team resumed Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom play on Saturday afternoon, dropping its first conference match of the spring to Lebanon Valley College by a score of 7-0 at the Shankroff Tennis Center. The Monarchs fall to 0-5 overall and 0-2 in league action, while the Flying Dutchmen improve to 11-3 and 2-0 in the MAC Freedom.
Singles play opened the afternoon with Lebanon Valley securing points throughout the lineup.
Carlee Dellose competed at No. 1 singles, falling to Catherine Stone by scores of 6-0 and 6-0. At No. 2 singles,
Kimberly Dinh was topped by Katie Berra, 6-0, 6-0.
Miley Caetano took the court at No. 3 singles and suffered a straight-set loss to Gigi Guay, while
Madeline Sirianni fell to Marissa Nicholson, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4 singles. The Flying Dutchmen picked up wins by forfeit at No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
Doubles play followed with Lebanon Valley completing the sweep. At No. 1 doubles, Dellose and Dinh were defeated by Stone and Sarah McComas, 6-0.
Miley Caetano and
Madeline Sirianni faced Nikki Denbowski and Emily Bryant at No. 2 doubles, falling by the same 6-0 score. The No. 3 doubles match was decided by forfeit in favor of the Flying Dutchmen.
The Monarchs return home to Kirby Park tomorrow morning, hosting Rutgers-Camden in a nonconference matchup. First serve against the Scarlet Raptors is slated for 11:00 a.m.
