Women's Tennis Falls to Rutgers-Camden in Nonconference Action

EDWARDSVILLE, PA (March 29, 2026) -- The King's College women's tennis team returned to Kirby Park Sunday morning, falling 7-0 to Rutgers‑Camden in nonconference action. The Monarchs move to 0-6 on the season, while the Scarlet Raptors improve to 8-3.
 

Rutgers‑Camden controlled the singles portion of the match, beginning at the top of the lineup. Carlee Dellose competed at No. 1 singles and battled throughout before dropping a 6-3, 6-2 decision to Gabby Albert. At No. 2 singles, Betsy Allen was defeated by Jilliane Jaugan, 6-0, 6-0.
 

Kimberly Dinh lined up at No. 3 singles and fell to Grace Albert by scores of 6-1 and 6-0. Miley Caetano followed at No. 4 singles, suffering a 6-0, 6-1 loss to Bella Albert. Madeline Sirianni rounded out singles play in the fifth position, falling 6-0, 6-0 to Katie Moore. Rutgers‑Camden claimed the final singles point by forfeit at No. 6.
 

Doubles play concluded the contest, with the Scarlet Raptors sweeping all three matches. Dellose and Dinh were topped 6-0 by Gabby and Bella Albert at No. 1 doubles. In the second flight, the duo of Allen and Caetano dropped a 6-2 decision to Jaugan/Grace Albert. The No. 3 doubles match was decided by forfeit in favor of Rutgers‑Camden.


The Monarchs return to action on Wednesday, April 8 for Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom battle with Misericordia University. First serve against the Cougars from Kirby Park is slated for 3:30 p.m.
