Men’s Basketball’s Rodner-Tims Earns All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention

NEWTOWN, PA (March 3, 2026)—The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office announced the 2025-26 All-MAC Freedom Men's Basketball Team on Tuesday morning with junior guard Ben Rodner-Tims earning All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention honors under the leadership of first-year head coach Rich Gray.

The All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention nod marks the first of Rodner-Tims' career. The junior guard started all 25 games for the Monarchs this season, leading the team with 18.1 points per game while shooting an efficient 52.7 percent (185-of-351) from the field. He added 5.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest, totaling 452 points, 131 rebounds, and 104 assists on the year. Among MAC Freedom leaders, Rodner-Tims ranked third in scoring, fifth in field goal percentage, and sixth in assists.

Rodner-Tims recorded six 25-point performances during the 2025-26 campaign, including a career-high 30-point outing against DeSales (2/17). He tallied two double-doubles on the season, posting 29 points and 10 assists against Centenary (12/3) and 14 points with 11 rebounds versus Misericordia (1/21). He narrowly missed a triple-double against Centenary (12/3), finishing with 29 points, nine rebounds, and 10 assists.

Major awards were distributed across the conference this season as Jayden Thomas of DeSales University was named Player of the Year. Joshua Okocha of Arcadia University earned Defensive Player of the Year honors, while Giovanni Sejuste of Lebanon Valley College was selected Rookie of the Year. Adam Van Zelst of Arcadia University was named Coach of the Year.
