NEW YORK, NY (March 6, 2026)—The King's college track and field team competed on day one of the AARTFC Championships on Friday at The Armory, with three athletes representing the Monarchs across two events.
Shot Put
Brandy Varner highlighted King's on Friday in the shot put, posting a silver-medal performance with a throw to 13.34 meters.
Nayeli Moliere marked a personal best throw of 11.36m to finish 21
st overall. Ithaca's Lily Seyfert edged out Varner by .33 meters to take first.
Long Jump
Jordan Jones competed for the Monarchs in the long jump, placing 21
st after a leap of 6.54 meters. Rowan's Anthony Parker took first in the event after a jump to 7.21 meters.
King's track and field returns to action on Saturday, March 7 as the Monarchs continue competition at the AARTFC Region Championships beginning at 10:00 a.m., while
Owen Foytack will represent the Monarchs at the Tufts Final Qualifier.
