NEW YORK, NY (March 7, 2026)— The King's College women's indoor track and field team competed on day two of the AARTFC Championships Saturday morning at The Armory, as Brandy Varner and Caitlin Kirk represented the Monarchs in the weight throw.
Varner posted another silver-medal performance, breaking her own school record of 17.37 meters with a mark of 17.51 meters. Kirk also delivered a strong showing, earning a sixth-place podium finish with a throw of 16.22 meters. Lauren Jakllitsch of SUNY Geneseo won the event with a meet-best throw of 18.80 meters.
King's track and field returns to action Thursday, March 12, as the Monarchs compete at the NCAA National Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.
